Fender Blues Junior

 This is a top of the Line modified class "Fender" Blues Junior to which we call a Blues Junior Deluxe. This is a special offering, saving you 100.00 USD over the price on our website.

Our
Blues Junior "Deluxe" is an awesome blues and rock amp that will get
the job done on stage and in the studio. You can go from Princton Reverb
tones to all out singing bluesy sustain in one amp. And, control it
with your guitars volume.

It is a 20+ watt, 6V6GT based tone monster that will make you smile!

The only thing remaining about this amp as far as the "Fender Blues Junior" is concerned, is the perfect size and weight of it.

We
upgrade the output transformer to a wide bandwidth, high fidelity
transformer. Increase the power supply capacitance considerably, which
along with the new output transformer and circuit revisions, lets the
amp offer up greatly enhanced bass performance. It's nowhere near boxy
sounding, and has low end like a sealed enclosure. 

During the redesign, all plate load, cathode and grid resistors are
replaced with good quality carbon composition parts. Bypass caps,
coupling caps, tone stack parameters and the phase inverter improvements
are all part of the recipe.

We
rewire the circuit to utilize a cathodyne inverter. This is same
circuit you hear in a Princeton Reverb and Deluxe, among others. This
offers an entirely different feel to the amplifier. Because of the
different approach in Phase inverters, our Blues Junior Deluxe uses 4
amplification stages all properly set up and tweaked for tonal nuances
from stage to stage which delivers wonderful responsiveness and tonal
versatility in the amp. Shimmering clean tones, warm jazz tones and
singing sustain can be rolled in and out of with your guitars volume
control. The harmonic content of the amplifier is on par with very, very
expensive amplifiers.

We
maintained the use of the foot switchable "Fat" switch, but the effect
is quite different then stock, in a good way! It is a very usable lead
boost. It increases the overall volume of the amp just enough, but takes
the drive tone of the amp and just nails it. It adds just the right
amount of compression and sustain, but doesn't muddy or drastically
change the tone of the amp. Single coil guys will love the foot
switchable "Fat" control.

The
stock reverb performance in improved greatly due to the significant
changes made in the beginning of the signal path in the amplifier. The
signal driving the reverb is improved and the return signal is improved
and as a result the reverb sounds better and is also foot switchable!
You can toggle your reverb on and off by the 2nd included foot switch.

The amp uses 3 12AX7 preamp tubes and the power amp runs the venerable 6V6GT. (JJ tubes)

The 8 pin ceramic tube sockets are mounted directly to the amplifier chassis.

We run a 12 inch 16 ohm American made WGS (warehouse guitar speaker) veteran 30 driver.

There is a true external speaker jack installed on the amplifier that disconnects the internal speaker when used.

The standby switch right above the indicator light lets you idle your amplifier and fire it up correctly preserving tube life.

The
input jack is a chassis mounted cliff jack that is then wired to the
1st preamp stage. We use isolated input jacks to maintain the ground
plane. The amps are very quiet.

You will need to install the tubes! The dual foot switch(s) are already installed and wrapped up in the back of the amplifier.

 We either double box amps and have them picked up by FedEx at the shop, or take them to FedEx and have them packed. This is done due to insurance values being around a grand.

We build and ship, build and ship, build and ship etc etc etc and repair and tweak and repair and tweak all day long. We do EVERYTHING we can to get your gear on it's way ASAP.

Please also understand that 2-3 hours of testing aside, the speaker in your Blues Junior Deluxe is NEW and will need to break in just like every other new guitar speaker. They do sound fantastic out of the box, but get even better within a week!

These pictures are for reference. We can recover your baffle board with Wheat, Vintage Silver, Black, Oxblood grill cloth. And really anything you might want.

Our Chrome Dome logo does not have to be put on your amp if you do not want it. If you want it on the rear of the amp we can do that, the front or none at all. It's up to you.
If you do want the Chrome Dome logo put on the front (It does look cool!) we will include the original Fender plate with the amp.

We use the chrome panel amplifiers by choice, and also try to get our
hands on demo units from stores. We utilize "used" amplifiers as well as
long as they look great cosmetically. We redesign and change so much of
the amplifier that you are running a new amp. If you would like us a to
use a BRAND NEW/ Blues Junior III this will increase the price
by 125.00 USD. The only thing this will achieve is the black cosmetics.
No tonal or longevity improvements will be achieved, just cosmetics.
