Fender FSR Surf Green Telecaster and Matching
Amp -- Painted headstock!
Limited Edition and hard-to find matching special run set.
Thinning
the herd again. This is a totally cool
matching set of a made in Mexico Fender Telecaster in surf green with painted
headstock and a Fender Blues Junior in surf green. These were a limited edition item sold in 2009
and increasingly hard to find.
Guitar
is excellent cosmetic condition with no nicks, dents or scratches in the body
or headstock. Frets do show some wear
but plenty of life and great playability.
Includes older black tolex hard-shell case in good condition. No major issues with the case and it does
what it’s supposed to do but it does have some wear.
Amp is
also in excellent condition, with no tears in the tolex. Great Fender tone, with a special look that
can’t be beat (okay, I confess I’m partial to surf green!) Plastic is still on
the “Limited Edition” badge on the back.
No
issues at all with either. They are not museum pieces but have been gently used and you'll be proud to add them to your collection.
I know
how hard these are to find so at this time, I’m not willing to separate the
set.
Shipping: Obviously, the amp and the guitar will be shipped separately. However, pay for the amp shipping (see calculator) and I'll ship the guitar for free (continental U.S.A. only!). I’ve
shipped many guitars and amps without incident.
At your request, tubes will be removed and packed separately. Regardless, the guitar and amp will be well
packed and insured (not an option).
One
final note about international shipping: This amp weighs nearly 40 lbs. so international shipping is outrageously expensive. Contact me about a shipping estimate before you bid. DO NOT BID and then ask me what the shipping
cost will be. It will be at least $300 for the amp and $100 for the guitar depending upon the country. And, no, I
won’t undervalue the items for customs purposes, so don’t bother asking.
